Job summary

AMTRACO, Inc. is seeking a Route Sales Driver to service customers across Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota. You will maintain customer inventories, process orders, handle inquiries, and represent the company on the road.

Position includes base pay, monthly commissions, and quarterly bonuses, with travel across the territory and collaboration with outside sales representatives to identify upsell opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of related experience and/or training.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with office equipment and software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the designated region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled inventories and obtain purchase orders to maintain stock.
• Organize and label inventory in customer storage areas.
• Answer questions about products, pricing, availability, and usage.
• Process incoming orders for your territory and note upsell opportunities.
• Coordinate with outside sales reps to understand customer needs and prepare samples.
• Investigate product claims and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and submit regular activity, sales volume, and expense reports.
