Job summary

Hodell-Natco Industries, Inc. seeks a VMI Delivery Driver/Forklift Operator to join our Tampa-area team. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse, pull and pack orders, operate sit-down forklifts, and provide on-site customer support at designated locations.

Responsibilities include inventory cycling, stocking, and communicating with Hodell-Natco Ops and Sales to ensure accurate product availability. A strong emphasis on teamwork and dependable service is required.

Qualifications

• Sit-down forklift experience is required.
• Experience in warehouse operations and on-site support is a plus.
• Drug-free workplace & background/DMV screening required.

Responsibilities

• Support VMI in warehouse and on-site areas to fulfill inventory needs.
• Pull/pack orders when field work is not required.
• Safely operate company vehicles and forklifts for delivery and on-site support.
• Maintain stocked shelves, perform cycle counts, and update inventory levels.
• Provide timely information to Ops & Sales and assist customers on-site.

# VMI Delivery Driver/Forklift Operator## Job DetailsTampa FL - Merit - Tampa, FL## VMI Delivery Driver/ Forklift Operator*Be part of a winning Team!**Work in a high volume, fast-paced environment where you will be working in both our warehouse servicing specialty customer orders as well as working on-site at a customer's location.***RESPONSIBILITIES***Support Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) in our warehouse environment, pulling product, transporting materials and providing customer support to designated on-site areas to fulfill predetermined inventory and product needs.** Pick/pack orders when field work is not required.* Safely operate company vehicles and forklifts to deliver and provide on-site support and contact with our VMI customers.* Ensure shelves are accurately stocked and orders placed as necessary by cycle-counting inventory & ordering product to avoid stock outs.* Provide timely order information, allowing communication with HNI Ops & Sales.* Responsible for cleaning/organizing areas including identifying products, establishing or adjusting min/max levels, setting up shelves, and labeling bins.* Provide excellent customer service by forming positive relationships with clients and utilizing excellent in-depth knowledge of company products and programs.* Provide feedback to Management regarding any issues with the VMI process.* Provide information to Managers and Customer Service to help ensure the accuracy of Hodell-Natco products stocking positions.* Be the eyes and ears of HNI when on customer's site by providing information to the organization to ensure service levels are maintained and not compromised.**SKILLS & ABILITIES*** Able work in a Team environment understanding that our customers come first.* Reliable and Dependable* Professional customer service, communication and listening skills* Aptitude to work with industrial/engineered parts such as fasteners, hardware and special parts.* General understanding of production lines, warehouse operations and delivery schedules* Proactive organizational and problem-solving abilities* Passion for accuracy, quality and continuous improvement* Be able to comply with drug free work place requirements, seven-year criminal background screen and DMV compliance* Sit-down forklift experience required.**BENEFITS*** Full-time position with competitive pay, paid vacation and holidays* Medical, Dental, Vision, EAP, Life, STD, LTD and supplemental accident/critical illness & 401k with match* Schedules are day shift 8-4:30 with 30 min lunch, Monday-Friday using company owned vehicles.* Hodell-Natco is an Equal-Opportunity Employer'
