Job summary

Linde plc in Spokane, WA is seeking a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) specialist to support strategic customers with daily visits, accurate order handling in JDE, and conversion to customer PO formats. You will help deliver products on-site and coordinate with Territory Managers and sales leadership to optimize inventory and pricing processes.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience with Excel and JDE and general computer skills; strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Visit a pre-determined list of strategic customers daily for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) of cylinders and hardgoods.
Ensure accuracy of orders, pricing, and processing in the JDE system; convert orders into customer Purchase Order format and email to purchasing when required.
Assist with delivering products to customers as needed.
Communicate effectively with General Sales Manager, Territory Manager, and distribution supervisors.
Identify and document Prostar conversion opportunities and meet quarterly with Territory Managers for review.
Assist Territory Managers with cylinder audits; write credit memos for returned hard goods while taking orders on-site and explore opportunities to convert customers to LG&E Express or EDI payments.
