Job summary

Linde plc in Spokane, WA is seeking a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) specialist to support strategic customers with daily visits, accurate order handling in JDE, and conversion to customer PO formats. You will help deliver products on-site and coordinate with Territory Managers and sales leadership to optimize inventory and pricing processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience with Excel and JDE and general computer skills; strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit a pre-determined list of strategic customers daily for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) of cylinders and hardgoods.
• Ensure accuracy of orders, pricing, and processing in the JDE system; convert orders into customer Purchase Order format and email to purchasing when required.
• Assist with delivering products to customers as needed.
• Communicate effectively with General Sales Manager, Territory Manager, and distribution supervisors.
• Identify and document Prostar conversion opportunities and meet quarterly with Territory Managers for review.
• Assist Territory Managers with cylinder audits; write credit memos for returned hard goods while taking orders on-site and explore opportunities to convert customers to LG&E Express or EDI payments.
