Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Vendor Inventory Technician in Peru, IL to coordinate delivery and support key vending accounts and customer cabinets, focusing on inventory of gases, consumables and safety products. The role includes basic troubleshooting and repairs, along with managing orders in SAP.

You will support existing accounts (75% local travel), maintain min/max sheets, and collaborate with VMI Technicians on quotes and onboarding new customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and replenishment to customers of various industrial products and vending machine or storeroom items.
• Reviews manual stock levels of various inventories at multiple plant departments for reorder.
• Maintains dedicated branch inventory levels for proper replenishment.
• Tracks and turns in delivery tickets and consignment fill tickets.
• Manage and process orders using SAP for supply chain customers over the phone or by email.
• Assist at the front counter and act as liaison between region and suppliers.
