Chenega MIOS is seeking a VLS Maintenance Technician I at Redstone Arsenal, AL. You will refurbish canisters for the US Navy fleet, perform painting, priming, and masking, and follow SOPs. The role requires the ability to travel 20–30% to CONUS/OCONUS locations and to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 0 to 1 year of sanding, priming, painting, and stenciling damaged parts.
• Valid driver's license.
• Interim Secret clearance.

Responsabilités

• Support quality, productivity, and process improvement initiatives always.
• Adhere to a very high standard of housekeeping.
• Complete painting tasks with gravity- or siphon-fed spray guns.
• Read and apply appropriate paint formulas.
• Prepping, priming, and masking for refinishing.
• Operate forklift to move equipment.
• Proper handling of company tools.
• Apply imaging decals (stencils).
• Properly complete all work order documentation.
• Execute repairs without direct supervision and guidance while following SOP.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
