Charles River Laboratories is seeking a Vivarium Support Technician (cage wash) to join our Integrated Toxicology team at the Kansas City site. This role supports vivarium operations and prepares materials to enable study activity completion.

Education: high school diploma, no experience required. You must be able to work extended hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and thrive in a fast-paced lab environment with safety as a priority.

Qualifikationen

• Flexible to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and extra shifts.

Aufgaben

• Clean and sanitize animal cages and related environmental items.
• Run daily maintenance on automated cage wash machines.
• Prepare housing for new animals and assist with receiving animals.
• Report equipment repair needs to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain clean and organized cage wash area and storage areas.
• Perform routine animal care duties and handle supplies.
• Prepare environmental enrichment items and study materials.
