The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Research Vivarium Husbandry professional for a client based in Stilwell, KS. The role supports daily vivarium operations, including housing maintenance, cleaning, and supply distribution to assist ongoing laboratory studies.

Primary duties include cage washing, housing preparation, enrichment material preparation, and basic equipment troubleshooting. Strong safety awareness and the ability to follow procedures are essential.

• Flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends, or additional shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and sanitize animal cages, racks, liners, and other housing items.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on cage-washing equipment and report issues.
• Prepare animal housing areas for incoming animals and assist with receiving.
• Sanitize surfaces in cage-washing areas, animal rooms, and lab spaces.
• Maintain clean, safe cage-washing and storage areas.
• Perform routine animal care support activities and sanitation tasks.
• Receive, store, organize, and distribute animal husbandry supplies.
• Prepare environmental enrichment materials for laboratory animals.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate basic laboratory equipment as needed.
• Operate basic lab equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Prepare study-related and animal colony supplies for ongoing research.
• Follow written procedures, safety guidelines, and sanitation requirements.
