Job summary

Urology of Indiana LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide both administrative and clinical support across our clinics. The role requires independent work and teamwork, with duties spanning patient intake, chart prep, scheduling, referrals, and coordination with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant degree from an accredited program or vocational institution preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience preferred.
• Certification as Medical Assistant strongly preferred.
• Travel to other clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support: answer phones, schedule appointments, process referrals and manage patient records.
• Assist with clinical tasks and prepare examination rooms and supplies.
• Take patient vital signs and document in EMR.
• Assist physicians during procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to deliver patient care.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and complete required trainings.
