Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with confidential records.
• Two years of experience in direct customer service.
• Two years of cash handling experience.
• Emergency duty to work in special needs shelters or in disasters may be required.
• Full-time, in-office position requiring physical presence in the office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the public with over-the-counter orders and inquiries for birth and death records in a professional manner.
• Verify identity and eligibility before issuing certificates in compliance with Florida statutes and administrative code.
• Issue certified copies to parties with a legitimate need for records.
• Maintain safety paper control, audit usage, and daily logs to prevent missing or duplicate numbers.
• Input payments into e-Vitals and print receipts; balance funds daily; submit deposits as required.
