Qualifications

• One year of direct patient care experience, or completion of a nursing assistant training course, or CNA license in GA, or current nursing program with 2 clinical rotations.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned patient care and observation duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse or LPN.
• Communicates with patients, families and care team.
• Maintains unit competencies and promotes a healing environment.
• Assists in emergencies and uses hospital equipment per training.
• Transports patients and specimens; records intake and output; contributes to admissions, transfers, and discharges.
