Covenant Health is seeking an experienced Telemonitoring Assistant to support continuous visual monitoring for patients in our care. The role requires careful attention, effective communication with patients via headset, and precise entry of patient data into telemonitoring software.

Responsibilities include hourly patient rounds, rapid response to behavioral changes, and collaboration with nursing staff to ensure patient safety and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer operation skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows is preferred.
• CPI training preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor up to ten patients continuously and stay alert on duty.
• Communicate with patients using a microphone and headset.
• Respond quickly to patient behavioral changes and notify floor staff as needed.
• Enter patient information correctly into telemonitoring software and document events.
• Perform hourly virtual rounds and conduct environmental safety checks.
• Provide reports to oncoming staff and assist in identifying patients for removal from continuous telemonitoring.
