Bloomingdale's is seeking an Asset Protection Visual Security Officer (VSO) to provide a visible, welcoming presence at the customer entrance and on the sales floor. You will deter theft, greet customers, assist shoppers, and help maintain a safe store environment while upholding professional standards.

No education or prior experience required, but strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a proactive, independent work ethic are valued.

Qualifications

• No Education or Experience Required
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers
• Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers while on the selling floor
• Visually monitor customer traffic entering and exiting the store
• Deter theft via visual observation
• Maintain a safe business environment
• Communicate suspicious activity to Asset Protection/Security
