Bloomingdale's is seeking a Visual Security Officer (VSO) to provide a visible, welcoming presence at the customer entrance and support a safe shopping environment. You will greet customers, deter theft, and assist shoppers while maintaining professionalism and follow-through on training.

Our Asset Protection program equips you with the knowledge and tools to perform effectively, with opportunities to grow responsibility in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
• No Education or Experience Required

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes customers while on the selling floor.
• Visually monitor customer traffic entering and exiting the store.
• Deter theft via visual observation.
• Maintain a safe business environment.
• Communicate suspicious activity to Asset Protection/Security
