Job summary

Bloomingdale’s Asset Protection Visual Security Officer (VSO) provides a visible, welcoming presence at the customer entrance that helps deter theft while aiding the shopping experience. The Visual Security Officer supports the store by helping to provide a safe environment for our customers and colleagues.

Our training will equip you with knowledge and tools to perform the job while you grow in responsibility.

Qualifications

• No Education or Experience Required
• Able to communicate with diverse groups of customers and peers
• Flexible retail schedule including day, evening, weekends and/or holidays

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes customers on the selling floor
• Visually monitor customer traffic entering and exiting the store
• Deter theft via visual observation
• Maintain a safe business environment
• Communicate suspicious activity to Asset Protection/Security
