Bloomingdale's in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a vigilant Asset Protection Visual Security Officer (VSO) to provide a visible, welcoming presence at the customer entrance. You will deter theft, support a safe shopping environment, and greet customers while assisting them.

We provide training to monitor activity, communicate concerns to Asset Protection, and uphold professional standards. Flexible shifts include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to fit store needs.

Qualifications

• No Education or Experience Required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes customers while on the selling floor
• Visually monitor customer traffic entering and exiting the store
• Deter theft via visual observation
• Maintain a safe business environment
• Communicate suspicious activity to Asset Protection/Security
