You will lead and coach team members, create compelling displays, manage inventory and budgets, and ensure safety and brand standards. This role emphasizes inclusion, growth, and delivering a memorable shopper experience.

Qualifications

• Experience Required: 1 to 3 years
• Experience Desired: 1-3 years of management experience preferred within the marketing, merchandising or retail industry.
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent plus 18 months to 3 years of additional training

Responsabilités

• Interview, select and train Team Members
• Direct the work of Team Members
• Appraise Team Members’ productivity and efficiency for promotions or other changes in status
• Handle Team Member issues including complaints
• Discipline Team Members
• Plan the work
• Distribute or assign the work among Team Members
• Provide for the safety and security of Team Members or the store
• Manage the budget for your department or location
• Manage inventory for your department or location
• Monitor or implement compliance measures
• Develop future leaders, identify Team Members ready to rise through the ranks
• Nurture an environment of inclusion and diversity, giving each Team Member a voice
• Maintain safety as the top priority for all
• Inspire the team and guests with a passion for food
• Make innovative plans to improve the business
• Maintain inventory, fixtures and props for safety and display quality
• Research visual merchandising trends by visiting local competitors and Giant Eagle, Inc. online
• Read trade magazines and blogs to stay competitive and provide up-to-date ideas
• Analyze guest and team member surveys to improve service
• Construct compelling displays to stimulate top-line sales
• Walk the sales floor daily to find opportunities for the Wow factor
• Prepare for weekly merchandising meetings by gathering and prioritizing information
• Make innovative merchandising plans to improve the business
