Free People in Boston is seeking an Assistant Visual Manager to support selling, service and store operations with a focus on merchandising and display that creates an inspiring visual experience for customers.

You will lead the team in visual initiatives, train staff on processes, and collaborate with leadership to drive engaging in-store experiences while maintaining brand standards and profitability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years store visual merchandising and leadership experience.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Love for the FP brand.

Responsibilities

• Support selling, service, and operations with emphasis on merchandising and display to create an inspiring customer experience.
• Lead store team in visual initiatives and customer engagement.
• Train team on store processes, merchandise placement, and onboarding.
• Manage payroll and visual direction from planning to execution, meeting budgets and timelines.
• Ensure safety, inventory accuracy, and adherence to policy to protect profitability.
• Foster open communication and daily team meetings to share product knowledge and visual priorities.
