Job summary

Ashley | The Wellsville Group is seeking a creative Visual Merchandising Specialist to support our Mayfield and Mentor showroom locations. You’ll design and refresh displays, accessorize spaces, and ensure merchandise is organized and customer-ready.

You’ll work hands-on behind the scenes and on the showroom floor, delivering eye-catching setups, collaborating with teams, and supporting inventory management. This role offers growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred — or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Creative eye for design and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel between the Cuyahoga Falls and Fairlawn showroom locations.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain stylish, visually engaging showroom displays and lifestyle setups.
• Accessorize spaces using wall art, rugs, lamps, tabletop décor, and other home accents.
• Receive, unbox, tag, and organize showroom accessories and merchandise.
• Help keep showroom floor, accessory warehouse, and clearance areas clean, polished, and customer-ready.
• Assist with inventory management, product tagging, and showroom replenishment.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Coordinate with warehouse and showroom teams to ensure smooth product movement and setup.
• Handle returned or damaged merchandise appropriately and efficiently.

Love home décor, design, and creating spaces that inspire? We’re looking for a creative, hands‑on Visual Merchandising Specialist to support our Mayfield and Mentor showroom locations. If you enjoy styling beautiful spaces, working with décor and accessories, and bringing showroom displays to life, this could be the perfect fit for you.

This is a fast‑paced, active role where no two days look the same. You’ll split your time between organizing and preparing merchandise behind the scenes and building eye‑catching displays on the showroom floor that create an unforgettable customer experience.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• A creative eye for design and attention to detail
• Self‑motivated with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable learning inventory and purchase order systems
• Willingness to travel between the Cuyahoga Falls and Fairlawn showroom locations regularly
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds
• Comfortable with physical activity including standing, walking, kneeling, stretching, and moving merchandise throughout the day
