Job summary

ThirdChannel is recruiting for COACH merchandising roles across the Lafayette area in department stores such as Macy's and Dillard's. This 1099 contractor position involves performing in-store merchandising duties, establishing monthly visit cadences, and building strong relationships with store teams while reporting progress via a mobile platform.

You control your schedule with store management, and earn compensation starting at $25/hour plus travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience, preferably in luxury/high-end department stores.
• Passion for COACH craftsmanship.
• Ability to build and maintain close relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to manage time autonomously and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise COACH handbags and footwear according to current visual directives.

This is a 1099 contractor role [monthly hours do vary depending on your territory store count] to perform merchandising services within the Coach area(s) of department stores (Macy's, Dillard's) in your area.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Merchandise COACH handbags and footwear according to current visual directives
• Create and commit to a monthly cadence of visits to high fashion department stores in your market, at least 1x per month, 1-5 hours each visit at each store (hours vary by location)
• Create meaningful relationships with store teams to help build brand loyalty and support
• Submit store visit reports, utilizing ThirdChannel technology on your smart device- Reports include gathered intel, photos and written summaries

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous merchandising experience-preferably in a luxury or high-end department store environment
• A passion and appreciation for the craftsmanship of COACH
• Ability to build and maintain close relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capability to problem solve and manage time autonomously

COMPENSATION AND PERKS

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Commitment to working assigned monthly visits to stores/hours
• Immediate start date upon completion of paid, 2-hour onboarding process
