Job summary

ThirdChannel is seeking a merchandiser to perform COACH handbag and footwear merchandising as a 1099 contractor. You will visit department stores monthly within your market, dedicating 1–5 hours per visit and building relationships with store teams.

The role offers an hourly starting rate of $25, with additional travel compensation and flexible scheduling in coordination with store management. Bring strong communication skills and self-driven time management.

Qualifications

• Prior merchandising experience, preferably luxury/high-end department stores.
• Passion and appreciation for COACH craftsmanship.
• Ability to build and sustain store relationships.
• Strong communication skills, both speaking and writing.
• Independent time management and problem solving are essential.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise COACH handbags and footwear per current visual directives.
• Visit high fashion department stores monthly (1x) for 1–5 hours per location.

This could be the perfect opportunity for you!

This is a 1099 contractor role [monthly hours do vary depending on your territory store count] to perform merchandising services within the Coach area(s) of department stores (Macy's, Dillard's) in your area.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Merchandise COACH handbags and footwear according to current visual directives
• Create and commit to a monthly cadence of visits to high fashion department stores in your market, at least 1x per month, 1-5 hours each visit at each store (hours vary by location)
• Create meaningful relationships with store teams to help build brand loyalty and support
• Submit store visit reports, utilizing ThirdChannel technology on your smart device- Reports include gathered intel, photos and written summaries

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous merchandising experience-preferably in a luxury or high-end department store environment
• A passion and appreciation for the craftsmanship of COACH
• Ability to build and maintain close relationships
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capability to problem solve and manage time autonomously

COMPENSATION AND PERKS

• This is a 1099, supplemental income, independent contractor position
