Base pay range

$116,000.00/yr - $166,000.00/yr

Meta is looking for a Reality Labs (RL) Visual Merchandising Project Manager. This person will develop global retail display concepts in partnership with retail creative teams to bring Meta products to life in physical retail environments. The role involves translating Meta's strategic product and sales initiatives into compelling merchandising programs that enhance customer experience. Responsibilities include managing visual merchandising components such as fixtures, demo units, graphics, and display technologies to ensure they are on brand, on budget, and on schedule. The role also focuses on optimizing existing displays and designing experiences for upcoming Meta products, establishing global design standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including retail creative, tech, and regional merchandising teams.

Visual Merchandising Project Manager Responsibilities:

1. Prioritize projects with tight deadlines for global refreshes and launches.
2. Partner with Channel Marketing, Product Marketing, Category, and Creative teams to develop comprehensive display programs and merchandising playbooks for regional teams.
3. Manage RFQs/RFPs with vendors and agencies.
4. Conduct research on shopper journeys and display evaluations to inform merchandising strategies.
5. Create detailed schedules from inception to deployment and communicate progress to stakeholders.
6. Collaborate with product marketing and retail tech teams to incorporate product experience parameters into display requirements.
7. Follow brand style guidelines for display concepts and assets.
8. Review project revisions, prototypes, and proofs with attention to detail.
9. Understand fixture production processes and establish global design and engineering sharing processes.
10. Manage manufacturing processes and retail security practices.
11. Oversee global design budgets, processing quotes, purchase orders, and negotiations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in retail displays, either on the brand or vendor side.
• Understanding of shopper experience translation into physical design.
• Experience communicating across broad teams and organizations.
• Ability to develop and streamline processes for scalability.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in managing complex programs.
• Experience managing relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
• Effective conflict resolution skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to create and manage project and budget trackers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Familiarity with global retail partner guidelines.
• Experience with direct-to-consumer retail strategies and consumer electronics displays.
• Proven track record from concept to execution of retail displays.
• Budget management experience.
• Knowledge of presentation decks for executives.
