Job summary

vineyard vines is seeking a Wholesale Visual Merchandising Manager to ensure business initiatives and brand standards are reflected in all wholesale accounts. You will lead VM strategies, tie them to key buys, and oversee in-store experiences that represent current company initiatives.

Responsibilities include travel to wholesale accounts, training, sales data analysis, shop maintenance, and seasonal activations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience as Visual Merchandiser or related experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports and survey results

Responsibilities

  • Monthly & Biweekly Travel to wholesale accounts and stores to work with in-store managers and district managers
  • Develop and train VM teams; create and implement floor sets, planograms, and brand-aligned VM solutions
  • Analyze sales data and trends to support targets; track performance and provide insights
  • Oversee shop maintenance and remote store communications; manage installations and special projects

Overview:

The Wholesale Visual Merchandising Manager is responsible for ensuring business initiatives and visual strategies are supported in all wholesale accounts. Wholesale Visual Merchandising should tie back to key buys and the experience in each account should represent current company initiatives and brand creative and standards.

You Will:

Monthly & Biweekly Travel:

  • In partnership with the home office, travel to wholesale accounts and free-standing specialty stores in the covered territories to work directly with in-store managers, account managers and district managers
  • Conduct regular walk- throughs, workshops and in person training
  • Implementing VM strategies in partnership with VM Harbor Drive
  • Facilitate weekly VM calls to support effective planning and cascade the communication of compass visual strategies in partnership with district managers across focused markets
  • Assist stores in the planning of merchandising application through floor set and window planograms, marketing and VM solutions that require custom application direction

Training:

  • Create Individual VM agendas that focus on building Visual Merchandising skills and capabilities
  • Facilitate hands-on training platforms inclusive of Mapping, Merchandising, Styling, Compositions, & reinforce the use of VM brand tools

Sales Data Analysis& Performance Tracking:

  • Analyze sales data and performance to ensure proper support for achieving provided sales targets
  • React to sell-through and create custom VM solutions that align with the brand story
  • Track success through both quantitative and qualitative learning insights, weekly business reporting, including weekly photo recaps and observations

Shop Maintenance:

  • Responsible for assessment and follow-up of shop maintenance of fixtures & physical condition of shop to Harbor Drive
  • Manage tracking list to ensure display inventory, marketing collateral and identify missing elements
  • Communicate noncompliance issues with Harbor Drive
  • Participate in shop & shop installations and manage the execution of the merchandising processes
  • Manage remote stores through various forms of communication (email, video, text) to ensure proper and constant lines of communication are established
  • Participate in special projects: harbor drive compass walkthrough, new real estate, brand activations and seasonal grand openings in the Islands

What you bring:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as Visual Merchandiser or related experience
  • Demonstrated visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio
  • Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilization
  • Ability to install creative (patch & paint, hanging, displays, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite - InDesign, Photoshop. Illustrator and other visual design tools a plus.
  • Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports and survey results
  • Strong listening, written and oral communication skills required
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
  • Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
