Job summary

Macy’s in Boise is seeking a Manager, Visual Merchandising to elevate the customer experience through creative merchandise presentations, seasonal trends, and three-dimensional displays. You will refresh styling frequently to engage repeat and new customers, and lead a team with collaboration across Store Leaders and Style Merchandise Managers.

The role emphasizes training, promotional accuracy, and strategic visual execution to drive sales while upholding Macy’s standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to draft reports and communicate with management and partners.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and perform basic calculations.
• Physical stamina: lift up to 30 lbs, stand for extended periods, and move assets as needed.

Responsibilities

• Re-establish training standards and tools to enhance staff skills.
• Increase the frequency of style/outfit refreshes to attract customers.
• Collaborate with Style Merchandise Manager and Store Leaders on workload and visual styling.
• Create in-store displays that boost sales and profitability.
• Ensure promotional accuracy and proper merchandise placement.
• Coordinate floor fixtures and merchandise moves with other Store Leaders.
