Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Manager of Visual Merchandising to enhance the customer experience through compelling merchandise presentations and seasonal displays. The role partners with Style Merchandise Managers to align workload, displays, and styling across the store while driving sales and brand consistency.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication, and leadership to guide store teams in merchandising standards and promotional accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to management and partners.
• Ability to perform basic math for measurements and reporting, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Re-establish training standards, experiences, and tools to enhance institutional skill levels.
• Increase the frequency of style/outfit refreshes to excite repeat and attract new customers; test frequency and details of VMDs.
• Foster partnership between Style Merchandise Manager and Visual Manager to optimize workload planning and visual styling.
• Evaluate and enhance the customer shopping experience by placing visuals in relevant areas; create captivating in-store displays that boost sales.
• Lead merchandising standards, promotional accuracy, and events across the selling floor.
