Job summary

LOEWE is seeking a VM Manager to oversee visual merchandising across Retail and Wholesale, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and elevating client experience in all points of sale. You will lead the VM program, partner with cross-functional teams, and travel as needed to optimize store displays and brand presentation.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in VM (including management), attention to display aesthetics, and the ability to communicate and train staff while driving

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Visual Merchandising, including management.
  • Attention to display composition, balance and color; strong photography.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; innovative and creative.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Global VM and manage planning and execution of VM guidelines through product placement, window & creative installations, and mannequin styling.
  • Adapt displays to store requirements and architecture, considering local needs and business trends.
  • Analyze weekly business results with Retail management to ideate and implement creative VM strategies to drive the regional and zone business, while maintaining the brand aesthetic.
  • Visit stores regularly to provide feedback, training and development to Store Management and VM Experts ensuring elevation of brand standards.
  • Support cross functional partners such as Merchandising, Wholesale, CRM, Marketing, and Store Planning with brand initiatives when needed.
  • Communicate with the global & zone VM teams through calls, photographic requests, recaps, and feedback on displays when necessary.
  • Inventory and maintain all VM props for the market, managing all requests, repairs & replacements.
  • Be a Loewe ambassador to the region with an optimistic and collaborative attitude.

Job description

The VM Manager is responsible for overseeing all visual merchandising responsibilities in their area by understanding the full strategic vision of the brand and elevating the client experience in all points of sale across Retail and Wholesale locations.

The role involves the execution of all VM and company guidelines, ideating and implementing business-driving strategies and promoting an exceptional store experience. The VM Manager will develop a close working partnership with all cross functional partners, and display agility and flexibility to drive business results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while always maintaining the brand aesthetic.

Job Responsibilities
  • Liaising with Global VM, manage the planning, organization and execution of all VM guidelines through product placement, window & creative installations, and mannequin styling.
  • Empower the ability to adapt display based on the store’s requirements and architecture, considering local needs and business trends.
  • Analyze weekly business results with Retail management to ideate and implement creative VM strategies to drive the regional and zone business, while always maintaining the brand aesthetic.
  • Manage a regular frequency of store visits to provide feedback, training and development to Store Management and VM Experts ensuring consistent elevation of brand standards.
  • Support all cross functional partners such as Merchandising, Wholesale, CRM, Marketing, and Store Planning, etc., with brand initiatives when needed: Store openings, pop ups, client activations, brand events, etc.
  • Communicate with the global & zone VM teams through calls, photographic requests, recaps, and providing feedback on displays when necessary.
  • Inventory and maintain all VM props for the market, managing all requests, repairs & replacements
  • Be a Loewe ambassador to the region with an optimistic and collaborative attitude. A positive and professional leader who is able to navigate a fast-paced retail environment with ever changing priorities and schedules.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Attributes
  • Excellent understanding of Visual Merchandising (5+ years’ experience preferable, including a background in management).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on display composition, balance and color. Strong photography skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a passion for innovation, creativity, and the ability to deliver work with a standard of excellence.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and experienced people manager, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and problem-solve.
  • Comfortable engaging with an array of audiences – from global executives, B2B clients and retail teams.
  • Ability to plan, manage and deliver large scale projects across a large number of locations simultaneously.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Flexibility to work a Retail schedule including working late nights, overnights, early mornings, weekends and holidays when required.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of time, domestic & international. Sometimes able to travel on short notice on an ad hoc basis.
  • Foreign language skills not required but beneficial (Spanish).

Employee benefits:

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000-115,000 salary. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, there is a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.
