West Elm in California is seeking a Visual Merchandising Lead to partner with store management to execute visual strategies and coaching for the visual team. You will help map floorset timelines, drive seasonal priorities, and ensure displays align with brand standards while maximizing sales.

Responsibilities include leading display execution, improving productivity, training new team members, and collaborating with leadership to optimize store layouts and inventory.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
• Proven ability to motivate and influence others through example.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Retail shift supervision experience preferred (1–3 years).
• Home-related design or visual merchandising experience preferred (1–2 years).

Responsibilities

• Lead visual merchandising and display; collaborate to map floorset timelines and seasonal strategy.
• Maintain daily disciplines for efficient execution of markdowns, signage, replenishment and recovery.
• Collaborate with management to adapt directions to store ownership and layout.
• Analyze reports to identify opportunities to improve profitability and drive results.
• Communicate inventory needs to distribution and management to optimize margins.
