Job summary

West Elm is seeking a Visual Merchandising Lead to partner with store management to execute floorset plans and seasonal displays. You will coach the visual team, model routines, and ensure adherence to brand standards while driving productivity and sales.

You will analyze sales and profitability, coordinate with the GM/DVM, and manage inventory needs, signage, and payroll planning. This role demands leadership, excellent communication, and a passion for home design.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years retail sales with shift supervision preferred.
• 1-2 years in home design or visual merchandising preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead visual merchandising and display, coordinating floorset timelines.
• Maintain daily routines for markdowns, promos, replenishment and recovery.
• Collaborate with GM/DVM to adapt directives to store needs.
• Analyze reports to identify profitability improvements.
• Coordinate inventory needs with DM and GM to maximize sell-through.
• Support associate productivity and visual standards.
• Ensure visual supplies and signage are organized; communicate needs.
• Assist payroll/workload planning with store leadership.
• Onboard and train visual staff; build skills.
• Prioritize customer needs and connect with Design support.
• Follow safety policies; uphold People First philosophy.
• Complete projects as directed by management.
