Job summary

Target's Visual Merchandiser role supports a great guest experience by ensuring that visual moments are set and maintained to company standards to drive sales.

You will plan daily workloads with leaders, execute visual assessments, lead and train teammates, and implement the Visual Merchandising strategy across the store. This position requires initiative, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while upholding safety and brand integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of visual merchandising experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Business acumen and creativity to inspire guests and drive sales.
• Strong understanding of trend and style for the brand.
• Lead and influence store teams to follow processes.
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and with technology.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily/weekly visual workload with guidance to meet sales goals and promotions.
• Execute weekly visual assessments and partner with leaders to improve store visuals.
• Assess and guide the execution of visual standards across the store to elevate displays.
• Support and implement the company Visual Merchandising strategy and ISM elements.
• Train and coach team members to improve visual merchandising skills.
• Set overhead lighting and adjust sets to create inspiring presentations.
• Maintain organization of backroom space and signing tools.
