Job summary

Target's Visual Merchandiser role supports a great guest experience by ensuring visual moments meet standards to drive sales. They are experts in visual presentation, including mannequin styling, mapping and fixture blocking, and In Store Marketing across the store.

The position involves planning daily/weekly workloads, executing visual assessments, upholding visual standards, supporting ISM, and training team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of visual merchandising experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Business acumen and creativity to inspire guests and drive sales.
• Strong understanding of trend and style reflective of our brand.
• Lead and influence store teams to follow processes that support visual merchandising.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other tech.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily/weekly visual workload with leadership guidance to include sales goals, events, and promotions.
• Execute weekly visual assessments and partner with leaders to improve store visual execution and guest experience.
• Assess and guide the execution of visual standards across the total store to elevate visuals.
• Support the execution of the Visual Merchandising strategy and in-store marketing across relevant areas.
• Support and validate all visual presentations in partnership with leaders.
• Set overhead lighting to highlight key merchandising presentations.
• Mentor team members to uphold visual standards and drive sales.
