About the Role

As a Visual Merchandiser, you contribute to an inspiring, elevated, and consistent customer experience by implementing visual standards and commercial excellence. You will be responsible for executing the visual, commercial, and styling curation according to visual & commercial guidelines for the store. You will also use your trend and competitor awareness to provide colleagues with the correct information, coach, upskill and develop the store team to contribute to a great customer experience.

A Day in the Life

Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the total OMNI customer experience by ensuring visual and commercial curation according to guidelines.
  • Represent yourself and the H&M Brand positively during customer interactions.
  • Organize and plan your workload according to store activation plans and adapt based on business needs.
  • Launch and maintain global campaigns and sale activities on time.
  • Ensure garment care, stock levels, and give input on allocation.
  • Perform sales report follow-up, identify and prioritize visual & commercial opportunities.
  • Create actions to increase customer satisfaction and meet sales targets.
  • Follow procedures and best practices for OMNI services and operational routines.
Fashion & Trend Awareness
  • Stay updated with fashion trends, styles, and competitors.
  • Plan time for trend awareness to enhance customer shopping experience.
Team & Development
  • Share and educate store teams on seasonal changes, trends, and visual & commercial information.
  • Coach and develop store teams’ visual and commercial skills.
  • Support routines and best practices to maintain standards.
  • Develop and onboard talents, organize training.
  • Complete required trainings based on regional and market goals.
Visual & Commercial Execution
  • Execute visual and commercial styling based on guidelines and trends.
  • Manage stockroom routines ensuring trend stories are created.
  • Ensure window and store styling execution.
  • Maintain store layout, fixtures, and signage.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Management for lighting and display forms.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety.
Qualifications
  • Curious, creative, proactive, solution-focused, and flexible with effective communication skills.
  • Fashion interests and leadership skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in product presentation and commercial execution.
  • Knowledge of visual, commercial, and operational routines and tools.
  • Ability to manage sales reports and follow-up actions.
