Job summary

Sézane in San Francisco seeks a talented Visual Merchandiser to join our flagship store. You will report to the Store Manager and the US VM Manager and lead VM initiatives in-store, ensuring brand DNA is reflected in displays and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Be the VM representative in the store and ensure optimal product presentation.
• Rotate racks, mannequins, tables, and wall displays according to collections.
• Organize work according to priorities and deadlines; meet commercial schedule.
• Train sales advisors on maintaining VM standards and share VM updates.
• Collaborate with stock for VM rotations and coordinate with managers for guidelines.
• Ensure window displays, events, and photo shoots run smoothly.

We are looking for a talented full-time Visual Merchandiser for our Flagship Store in San Francisco to join our retail teams. This position is based in San Francisco, CA. Reporting to the Store Manager and the US VM Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

Be the VM representative in the store

• Ensure optimal product presentation in line with Sézane's DNA;
• Offer customers an inspiring shopping experience;
• Rotate racks, mannequins, tables, and wall displays according to collection releases and stock levels;
• Organize your work according to needs, priorities, and the commercial schedule, ensuring deadlines are met.

Oversee the layout of spaces

• Be responsible for Point of Sale advertising and merchandising materials.
• Manage and monitor florals, decorative objects, etc.
• Ensure the smooth running of installations and work (window displays, product presentation updates, pop-ups, photo shoots, events, etc.).

Raise awareness and train teams

• Train and raise awareness among sales advisors on maintaining VM
• Communicate and circulate VM information (photos, merch sheets, product focus, VM standards, trends, etc.);
• Maintain active communication with the various managers in order to best meet their expectations;
• Collaborate with the stock team to prepare VM rotations (picking new items, streaming, pricing, anti-theft measures, etc.);
• Ensure that information is reported to the Manager as needed to adapt guidelines.

Profile

• You have successful experience as a Visual Merchandiser in the ready-to-wear sector.
• Passionate about fashion, you have a good understanding of trends, are proactive and have a strategic/commercial vision of products.
• Positive and creative, you want to share and develop your skills in an agile and energetic environment.
• A team player, you enjoy participating in all activities that contribute to the overall objectives of the store.
• You are proactive, adaptable, and know how to motivate others by being approachable.
