Job Summary

Sharecare, a developer of immersive 3D software, mobile applications, and a revolutionary medical visualization product, is seeking a highly experienced, motivated, and knowledgeable Graphic Designer. The role involves creating interactive graphical elements used in mobile interface design, web interfaces, branding, and supporting our team of artists and developers with elegant design concepts under the direction of our Art Director in the Sharecare Reality Lab studio.

Sharecare is a stable and expanding global company, and an industry leader in a sector hitting the mainstream. An interest in science, health, anatomy, and a desire to communicate concepts visually is essential.

Under the direction of the Art Director, this role will design and create interactive graphical elements for our interface design, marketing, branding, and support our team with design concepts for internal projects.

Essential Job Functions

• Create multiple iterations of UI/UX designs for consideration during product development.
• Design and incorporate director input effectively.
• Create programmer-ready assets for interactive purposes.
• Make creative decisions while adhering to client and director specifications.
• Provide mockups for our team of artists and programmers.
• Interpret storyboard ideas from medical experts and scientists to create UI/UX designs in Unity that enhance our projects.
• Report progress to the Art Director and team during weekly reviews.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and dedication.
• Help maintain a positive, collaborative work environment in the studio.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience creating UI/UX for mobile or tablet applications or games.
• Proficiency with computer graphics software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Painter, Microsoft Office, and Figma.
• 3-5+ years experience with 3D software and motion graphics software like Maya, After Effects, Premiere, or similar.
• 3-5+ years experience designing UI/UX with Unity3D.
• Ability to multitask across multiple projects and shift priorities.
• Enjoy working in fast-paced environments.
• Collaborative work ethic and spirit.
• Creative self-starter, self-managed, motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Strong artistic sensibility, technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and responsiveness to critique.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret visual ideas and make creative decisions aligned with client and director needs.
• Stay updated on latest design trends and industry standards.
• Interest in mobile and interactive applications is required.
• HTML5 knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with UI/UX for Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, or console game development is a plus.
• Experience with UI motion design is highly desirable.
• Interest in science, biology, anatomy, and helping others understand these topics is essential.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
