Job summary

TEKsystems Cupertino seeks a contract designer to craft internal digital content, from websites and banners to email campaigns and employee communications, translating concepts into polished visual experiences.

You will collaborate with Producers, Strategists, Product Managers, and Copywriters, applying brand guidelines and design systems, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality work on tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual, graphic, brand, and digital design work.
• Advanced understanding of typography, composition, visual hierarchy, and storytelling.
• Experience designing websites, digital communications, marketing materials, and campaigns.
• Strong knowledge of branding and design system principles.

Responsibilities

• Design internal digital content including websites, banners, email campaigns, newsletters, presentations, and employee communications.
• Translate concepts, content, and mockups into polished, production-ready visual experiences.
• Create clear and engaging designs through strong typography, composition, hierarchy, and use of imagery.
• Apply established brand guidelines and design systems consistently across deliverables.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Producers, Strategists, Product Managers, and Copywriters.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment.
• Deliver high-quality creative work on tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual, graphic, brand, and digital design work.
• Advanced understanding of typography, composition, visual hierarchy, and visual storytelling.
• Experience designing websites, digital communications, marketing materials, presentations, and campaigns.
• Strong knowledge of branding and design system principles.
• Experience incorporating AI-assisted tools and workflows into the design process and turning AI-generated concepts or mockups into polished creative.
• Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a high bar for visual craft and quality.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing or evolving logos, iconography, and other brand elements.
• Familiarity with macOS and related creative tools.
• Experience working with complex organizations and multiple stakeholders.

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates must include a portfolio or website demonstrating relevant visual and digital design work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cupertino, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
