Job summary

Encore seeks a Visual Designer to create high-quality designs for medium-complexity projects across LED, digital, print, presentations, and video. You will partner with Creative and Production teams and report to the Associate Creative Director, Design or higher.

You will contribute to event branding, speaker decks, and ensure design consistency with client brand guides while meeting tight deadlines and collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in graphic design
• 3+ years of graphic design experience
• Portfolio showing design and typography across media
• Extensive knowledge of print, web, and development
• Strong understanding of branding
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Knowledge of generative AI design tools
• Strong PowerPoint/Keynote presentation design skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary team
• A creative portfolio showing range and flexibility
• Keep PM software up-to-date for all projects
• Adhere to Encore Creative Production Process

Responsibilities

• Independently craft high-quality designs for medium-complexity/high-volume projects.
• Generate clear ideas and deliverables from concept to completion.
• Design event branding and logos.
• Develop deliverables per client brand and event guides.
• Create Speaker presentations in PowerPoint/Keynote.
• Communicate project status with Creative Producers.
• Collaborate with the Creative team to implement visual style.
• Manage timelines for overlapping projects and deadlines.
• Organize and manage shared media assets.
• Demonstrate proficiency in creative software and troubleshooting.
• Maintain workstation and backup files.
• Work well in team or independently.
• Attend creative presentations to stakeholders.
• Foster a positive work environment.
• Translate Creative Direction into deliverables.
• Maintain timely communications via email/teams when in office or remote.
• Handle multiple deliverables without sacrificing quality.
• Keep project data and timesheets up to date in PM software.
