Job summary

CAE USA Inc. is seeking a Visual Database Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain real-time 3-D visual and RADAR databases used in C-17 training systems. You will collaborate with Test Engineers, Pilot Instructors, and SMEs to validate designs and assure seamless integration within the training system.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering (or 8+ years of related experience) and at least four years in visual database development. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; or a minimum of eight years of related experience.
• Minimum of four years of experience in visual database development or a related technical field.
• Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, develop, and implement visual database applications used for simulation and training.
• Design, modify, develop, and implement RADAR database applications.
• Support and install software applications and operating systems necessary for database integration.
• Coordinate with the Training System Support Center (TSSC) Engineering group for smooth implementation.
• Work with Test Engineers, Pilot Instructors, and SMEs to validate design accuracy and usability.
• Participate in meetings and provide regular updates on project status to management and customers.
