Job Summary

The Student Assistant will keep drawing studio (Fine Arts 206) clean, including wiping down drawing tables, sweeping, putting away still life set‑ups and some modeling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the ceramics studio, including wiping tables and putting the tools away.
• Vacuum and mop studio.
• Reclaim and process clay, mix glazes, load and unload kilns.
• Frame and unframe work for art shows and changing artwork in display cases.
• Helping with other jobs that come up during the semester to include proposed murals, banners or posters.

Required Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at Gordon State College in a minimum of six (6) credit hours.
• Must be Federal Work Study eligible.
