  • Institutional Effectiveness, Assessment, and Accreditation Support 70%: maintain accreditation, assessment, and institutional effectiveness records; compile and organize evidence for reviews; track reporting deadlines; review materials for completeness; follow up with departments on missing documentation; maintain records and databases; use WEAVE for reporting; collect credentialing materials; prepare routine reports for accreditation.
  • Administrative and Office Support 30%: provide admin support to leadership; schedule meetings; prepare agendas and minutes; respond to inquiries; maintain records and resources; update departmental webpages; perform related duties.

Founded in 1852, GSC is a member of the University System of Georgia. The college has a distinctive legacy of excellent scholarship and service. GSC offers nearly 30 degrees, which includes multiple associate and baccalaureate pathways for students. In this setting, students receive individualized attention that only a small college with dedicated faculty and staff can provide.

Job Summary

This position provides specialized administrative and operational support to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation. Performs a variety of administrative, records-management, reporting, accreditation, assessment, and compliance-support functions requiring knowledge of institutional processes and attention to detail. The position independently manages assigned administrative processes, maintains specialized institutional records and documentation, tracks deadlines and required submissions, and works with faculty and staff across the college to obtain and organize information needed for institutional reporting and accreditation activities.

Responsibilities
Institutional Effectiveness, Assessment, and Accreditation Support 70%
  • Maintains accreditation, assessment, and institutional effectiveness records and documentation.
  • Compiles and organizes evidence for accreditation reviews and institutional reporting.
  • Tracks reporting deadlines and assists with monitoring compliance requirements.
  • Reviews submitted materials for completeness, accuracy, and consistency with established requirements.
  • Follows up with departments regarding missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Maintains assessment plans, reports, improvement documentation, and related records.
  • Maintains electronic repositories and databases used for accreditation and assessment reporting.
  • Utilizes the institution¿s assessment and effectiveness management system (WEAVE) to support institutional effectiveness, assessment, and accreditation activities.
  • Maintains faculty qualification records and supporting documentation for accreditation reviews and institutional reviews.
  • Collects, tracks, and archives credentialing materials, transcripts, licensure records, professional experience documentation, and other faculty qualification materials.
  • Prepares routine reports, spreadsheets, summaries, and documentation for accreditation and institutional reporting.
  • Assists with planning and coordinating accreditation visits, meetings, workshops, and related activities.
Administrative and Office Support 30%
  • Provides administrative support to the Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation leadership team.
  • Schedules meetings and maintains calendars.
  • Prepares agendas, meeting materials, correspondence, and minutes.
  • Responds to inquiries and provides information regarding established office procedures.
  • Maintains office records and electronic resources.
  • Assists with updating departmental webpages and electronic resources.
  • Performs other related administrative duties.
Required Qualifications

Associates degree.

Two years of experience in a similar position.

Other Information

This is a part time, non-benefited position working up to 19 hours per week.

Hourly rate: $20.00/hour
