Job summary

Tria Federal is seeking a VistA/VA Systems Integration Engineer in Arlington, VA for a hybrid role. You will manage interdependencies across VA systems, support cloud integration, and drive enterprise-level API and data-flow solutions using Caché, Ensemble, and related technologies.

The role requires 8+ years in software development, VA OI&T experience, and strong communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in CS or engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working on a VA OI&T development project is mandatory
• Experience working with enterprise cloud integration highly preferred
• A Senior Developer must be able to create logical and functional software code in a variety of languages
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required
• 8+ year’s professional experience in Software Development
• VIP and Rational Tools experience highly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage interdependencies between multiple VA IT systems
• Assist project managers with implementing enterprise cloud integration
• Assist project managers with the development of high quality responses to internal and external information requests
• Deploy and patch VistA environments in cloud environments
• Interact with agile scrum teams
• Research & develop custom solutions for healthcare customers and large scale deployments
• Translate technical information into executive-level communications
