Job summary

Step Up’s VISTA Leaders program seeks dedicated individuals to strengthen community infrastructure, fundraising systems, and national visibility. This role is a full-time, year-long placement focusing on leadership, capacity building, and program sustainability across several program locations.

You’ll participate in cohort training, create impact stories, and support the next cohort while ensuring services reach low-income girls and young women nationwide.

Qualifications

• Education level: High school diploma/GED.
• Age requirement: 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Member Support and Cohort Building: strengthen cohort connection and member support so that members complete their full term of service.
• Training and Professional Development: design and deliver a training series that improves members’ ability to achieve their VAD objectives.
• Data Collection and Impact Storytelling: establish a system to track member progress and demonstrate project impact.
• Recruitment and Program Sustainability: help recruit and prepare the next cohort and document the project’s processes.
