AmeriCorps & Senior Corps is supporting Step Up's VISTA project to expand mentorship and career readiness resources across the country. This role focuses on building mentor pipelines, recruiting teens and young adults, and researching new markets to widen reach in low-income communities.

You will collaborate with schools, community partners, and districts to develop scalable recruitment systems and nationwide visibility for Step Up programs.

Responsabilités

• Mentor recruitment: build and implement local mentor recruitment strategies — employer outreach, professional association partnerships, and volunteer pipeline development
• Young adult recruitment: develop and implement strategies to recruit young adults to Step Up programming — community outreach, referral partner networks, and intake processes
• Teen recruitment: develop sustainable teen recruitment systems for Step Up campuses, including school counselor engagement strategies, student outreach resources, contact-tracking tools, and in-school recruitment procedures for continued staff use
• Community expansion research: research rural and small communities near existing markets
• Identify NGO, small business, and civic partners critical to Step Up expansion
