Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Visitor Screening in West Palm Beach, FL. You will protect clients by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and delivering courteous service at government locations.

This full-time role offers a pay rate of $19.85 per hour, regular schedules, and opportunities for training, advancement, and benefits as part of a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years security-related experience, or a criminal justice.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Hold CPR certification, preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific screening procedures.
• Screen individuals and personal belongings using assigned screening equipment and established procedures.
• Verify access credentials, direct visitors to appropriate areas, and maintain orderly entry points.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry areas, surrounding grounds, and perimeter.
