Job summary

Visit Milwaukee is seeking a Visitor Experience Specialist - Event Activations to manage assigned visitor experience activations from planning through execution. The role serves as a liaison among departments, venues, partners and volunteers to ensure brand-aligned service and effective event delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong project coordination, customer service and tourism industry knowledge, with the ability to adapt staffing and schedules as event conditions change.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and executing activations and events.
• Ability to coordinate with venues, partners and volunteers.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of Milwaukee area hospitality resources is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own activations from planning through execution and closeout.
• Develop activation plans, timelines, staffing models, and contingency plans.
• Direct internal and external resources to align with activation plans.
• Lead post-event reviews and suggest improvements for future events.
• Coordinate with marketing, partnerships, and other departments to integrate requirements.
