Job summary

The University of Illinois Chicago, Department of Medicine in Chicago, IL is seeking a Visiting Research Associate II to conduct participant screenings, obtain informed consent, and implement data collection via REDCap for a dissemination and implementation science project.

The role includes participant recruitment, developing study forms, supporting IRB submissions, and training new staff; duties span in-person and virtual engagement, data management, and collaboration with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in community health, public health, kinesiology, or related field required, advanced degree preferred.
• Experience working on a research study is required (minimum 1 year).
• Knowledge of research concepts, practices and procedures and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform participant screenings and obtain informed consent per established protocols.
• Collect, process and analyze data; summarize research results.
• Assist with study protocol development and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate equipment inventory and maintenance for data collection tools.
• Prepare statistical data for papers, grants, and reports.
• Assist in training staff and communicating with participants across media.
