The University of Houston invites applications for an on-tenure track, full-time Visiting Assistant Professor in the Human Development & Family Sciences program within the Psychological, Health, & Learning Sciences department. Begin January 2027; renewal contingent on review.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses (e.g., lifespan development, family science), develop curriculum, and engage in student success initiatives with a collaborative faculty group.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Master's degree in Human Development & Family Sciences or related field.
• Evidence of effective teaching at the college/university level.

Responsabilités

• Teach undergraduate courses with a 4/4 load in fall and spring.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program service.
• Engage in community engagement and student success initiatives.
