Job summary

Beloit College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Business and Psychology for the 2027-28 academic year.

The successful candidate will teach six courses (3 per semester) including Introduction to Psychology and our Psychology Research Methods and Statistics sequence, plus intermediate courses in areas such as Behavioral Economics, Consumer Behavior and Marketing, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and Organizational Leadership.

Qualifications

• PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field preferred; ABD considered.
• Teach six courses across the academic year, including Introduction to Psychology and research methods sequence.
• Courses may include Behavioral Economics, Consumer Behavior, Marketing, and Organizational topics.
• Commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and engaging a diverse student body.

Responsibilities

• Teach six courses (3 per semester) including Introduction to Psychology and Research Methods and Statistics.
• Develop and supervise undergraduate research and integrate interdisciplinary curriculum.
