Job summary

University of Wisconsin-Green Bay invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor of Psychology to join a student-centered academic community committed to teaching excellence, access, and student success.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in multiple modalities, including Psychopathology/Abnormal Psychology, Counseling and Psychotherapy, Theories of Counseling, Counseling Microskills, and additional courses within their area of expertise.

Qualifications

• Earned Master’s in Psychology in an applied field or anticipated prior to starting date.
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching online and in-person.
• Commitment to undergraduate and graduate education.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a diverse array of students and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Teach 27 credits of undergraduate and/or graduate courses per academic year in multiple modalities, including specified courses.
• Attend psychology faculty meetings, serve on departmental committees, engage in professional development, and mentor undergraduates.
• Implement inclusive instructional strategies to increase support for underrepresented and first-generation students.
