Widener University seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor of Nursing (Non-tenure track) in Chester, PA, for Spring 2027. The role focuses on Medical-Surgical Nursing education, teaching excellence, student mentorship, and service to the university and community.

The candidate will contribute to undergraduate nursing education, emphasize inclusive pedagogy, and collaborate with faculty to advance the School of Nursing’s mission while supporting diverse student success.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited college/university.
• Active RN license and eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Three (3+) years of academic teaching experience including clinical instruction.
• Three (3+) years of professional experience in Medical Surgical Nursing.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication and collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver undergraduate nursing courses with evidence-based teaching strategies.
• Mentor and advise nursing students to support academic and professional growth.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the School of Nursing’s mission.
• Engage in service activities within the university and local community.
