Widener University seeks a one-semester Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology for Spring 2027. The role includes teaching four courses, advising undergraduate psychology majors, and contributing to departmental service. The position is non-tenure-track and part of the undergraduate program, with emphasis on inclusive teaching and mentoring.

Qualificações

• Ph.D. or advanced degree in psychology; ABD considered.

Responsabilidades

• Teach four courses per semester, including Introduction to Psychology and an upper-level elective.
• Develop course materials and assessments to foster critical thinking and content mastery.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain regular weekly office hours to provide academic support to students.
• Advise and mentor undergraduates on courses, majors and career planning.
• Attend division, College and University meetings and contribute to initiatives.
