Job summary

Miami University is seeking a Visiting Faculty member in the Teaching Curriculum and Educational Inquiry Department JM to supervise student teachers on a per-student basis for Fall Semester 2026. The appointments are fixed-term and supervised per-semester assignments.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Teacher Education or a closely related field, plus teaching or school administrator licensure and at least four years of relevant PreK-12 experience. A CPAST edTPA background is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Teacher Education or closely related field and at least four years in PreK-12 education.
• Teaching or school administrator license and a minimum of four years of professional experience in PreK-12 education.
• Experience with CPAST evaluation tool or edTPA is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Visiting Faculty to supervise student teachers on a per-student basis during the Fall Semester 2026. Supervision assignments are made on a semester basis.
